Splash, Water, and Dust Resistance
AirTag is splash, water, and dust resistant and was tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP67 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes). Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Refer to the Safety and Handling documentation for cleaning and drying instructions.

Apple AirTag with Your Apple Devices
Apple AirTag is a small tracking device designed to help you keep track of your items. Here’s how to use AirTag with your Apple devices:
Make sure your Apple device is updated to the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS.
Attach the AirTag to your item (e.g., keys, backpack, wallet, etc.).
Your AirTag will automatically connect to your Apple device via Bluetooth.
To view your AirTag’s location, open the Find My app on your Apple device.
If your AirTag is within Bluetooth range of your device, you’ll see its current location on the map. You can also play a sound on the AirTag to help you locate it.
If your AirTag is out of Bluetooth range, you can see its last known location on the map. If someone with an Apple device comes within Bluetooth range of your AirTag, you’ll receive a notification with its updated location.
You can also use the Precision Finding feature on your iPhone 11 or later to get more accurate location information about your AirTag.
If you no longer need to use the AirTag, you can remove it from your item by pressing and holding the silver button on the AirTag.
